Peak District

When we lived in Cheshire, we weren't far from the Peak District. Here are some of the places we enjoyed visiting.

The Peak District National Park is mostly in Derbyshire, but also extends into some neighbouring counties, and other photos can be found in their pages. So Cheshire includes places such as Lyme Park and Macclesfield Forest, and Yorkshire includes Dove Stone Reservoir, in Saddleworth. (Although that has been part of Greater Manchester since 1974, it was historically part of the West Riding.)
