A hazy autumn morning, looking eastwards over Edale from the slopes of Grindslow Knoll.

The peak in the centre of the picture is Lose Hill (476m; 1562 feet), at the eastern end of the Great Ridge which separates Edale from the larger village of Castleton to the south.
