Meltham area (4)
Meltham Mills Reservoir lies in a small valley between Meltham and Honley. It was constructed in about 1805 to supply the cotton mills of Jonas Brook and Brothers in Meltham Mills. These are long gone, and it's now a fishing water, as well as home to a variety of bird life.
