Bourne Wood (1)

This is a stretch of ancient woodland near the town of Bourne. It currently has mixed conifers and semi-natural broadleaf trees, but it is gradually being restored to native broadleaved woodland.

There are lots of paths and trails, making it easy to explore (and sometimes get lost and/or muddy), while keeping an eye open for the wide variety of wildlife.
